It might be time to consider telling your follower to move to a different social media site, so you can take your audience with you.

For a while I have been trying to diversify what sites I use, but like YouTube, the main issue with that is there are not really any other platforms like Twitter to move too.

I am working on making NewGrounds my 'main' site since I know it's stable and has a good layout for looking at my art backlog. But the lack of an app does hinder it a bit.

I've tried other startup sites, but there is usually a long list of problems that prevent them from getting traction.
Bad UI, janky uploading, lack of an app, toxic userbase (from the first people flocking to it being the people banned from the main sites), a paywall, lackluster profile presentation, a lack of non-artist users, or they are decent but disallow NSFW content.

I even looked into making my own site, but it's not really a good solution. I at least have BiteBox64.com redirect to a linktree of all my different profiles.

As much of a dumpster fire Twitter can be, I can't completely give up on it. It just can't be my only site.

@grimview @BiteBox64 How are you able to quickly build a following on twitter?
